It can vary quite a lot. I’m quite lucky in that my working hours are quite flexible, so there’s no set time I need to start the day by and I also don’t have to finish at a certain time either. In general, I work 9–6, sometimes later if there’s one or two things I need to finish off before I leave.

It depends on the day. Working in comp chem we don’t need to be in a lab so most days it doesn’t matter too much when we come into uni and we can work from home too if we want to. I normally get in around 10.30 and stay until sometime after 5 but it can change depending on what I have planned for the day and how heavy my workload is.
