• Question: how does the sun emit radiation during night time?

      The sun doesn’t change what it’s doing overnight – it’s just facing a different part of the Earth so less of its radiation reaches us. It emits radiation the same as in the daytime, by nuclear reactions between particles.

      The sun never actually stops emitting radiation. During the night, the sun is on the opposite side of the world lighting up the rest of the globe.
