Question: Do you recommend this job to anyone and why?

I would recommend it but it’s very important if you do a PhD that you’re really interested in whatever it is you’re researching. It’s a lot of work and a lot of focus on a very specific area of science and if you really like that area and care about the results you’re getting then it can be pretty enjoyable but if not then there’s no point becoming an expert in it.
