• Question: What do you think the future holds for quantum computers

      Good question! At the moment, we’re still trying to make quantum computers better than our most powerful supercomputers. Google recently announced that they’d built one that was better, but some other companies doubted their claims. So for the next few years, we’re probably still going to focus on this part of their development.

      Once we’ve done that, I think we’ll start to see more and more people using or working on quantum computers to start doing practical calculations with them. I think it’ll be really exciting once we properly start to simulate and model complex things with them, since this would be a huge step forward for humanity! There’s still so much we don’t know or understand in science, but quantum computers might be a big next step for us.
