I don’t think I could personally, it’s not really my area, but I’m sure lots of scientists are working on it!
I work with porous materials that interact with gases. I haven’t thought about it before but I suppose there could be a possibility of using the same kind of idea to catch viruses. I’ve never heard of any research about that though so I’m not sure what the possibilities or limitations would be.
