I have had to study a lot to get to where I am but i really enjoy my work which makes things easier.

The best thing to do is to during hard points is actually to maintain a good work/life balance, it is important in normal circumstances but especially important in bad circumstances.

Yes! Research requires you to read quite a lot, and there’s quite a lot of scientific papers out there to learn about. It helps to enjoy what you study!

I think speaking to people is important to help you get past the difficult points in your career, and this is part of keeping a good work/life balance. I’m definitely guilty of not speaking to people when I am facing difficult times in my career, but I still believe it’s important to speak to someone about problems you encounter. Whether it’s speaking to someone at your place of work, or venting to friends/family, it’s good to get advice from other people.
